The Little Prince - Yenpyen-mal (Korean Dialect) 쬬꼬만 왕자 Ccyokkoman Wangca
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry / TEAM APPEAR
쬬꼬만 왕자 Ccyokkoman Wangca The Little Prince - Yenpyen-mal (Korean Dialect)

Translation of the classic into Yenpyen-mal, a regional dialect of the Korean language spoken in the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, northeastern China. The modern form of the dialect began to take shape in the late 19th century, as waves of Korean immigrants moved northward. Over the course of modern history, Yanbian in Northeast Asia has developed into a multicultural region with a diverse mix of ethnic groups, including Koreans, Chinese, Manchus, Japanese, and Russians. Yanbian Korean exhibits features rooted in the Hamgyong dialect of Korean, with elements of Old Korean. It also incorporates features of various regional dialects of the Korean Peninsula and exhibits typical patterns of language contact, including loanwords from Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Manchu. Today, about half of the Yanbian Korean-speaking population lives in other parts of China or abroad, for example in South Korea and Japan.
