The Little Prince Is Being Studied Scientifically!
The Research Center for the German Language Atlas at Philipps University of Marburg, led by Prof. Alfred Lameli, will conduct a linguistic analysis of a selection of dialect translations of The Little Prince. The various editions will be linguistically annotated and analyzed for research purposes as part of a scholarly corpus. For dialectology and variation linguistics, this material offers a unique opportunity to systematically examine linguistic structures, regional differences, and developments.
